Visually I was hooked right away. I got over my initial disappointment I was going to watch a black n white film. As the movie went on I couldnâ(TM)t imagine it telling as successful in color. After the movie I thought about whether I like it or not.
Like if I felt I needed something âmoreâ? from the film. I told someone Iâ(TM)m not sure I liked it overall as a piece. Then I found myself thinking on the film for days after. Weird clips would come back to me absurd scenes and odd images.
I can now say I would describe this film as unforgettable. And I realize I do like this film v much. IT was so different as an art form I needed time to process it all. It succeeds as any great piece of art should - it causes a reaction in thought or emotion.
The format of this movie is one of the best pieces of art I have ever seen on film.
