One of the best films of the 21st century and DEFINITELY the best film of 2018. This is a level of masterpiece that doesn't come around often. It is beautifully, emotionally and dauntingly shot, one of the most daring film scripts of recent times, completed by excellent performances.
The direction of Cuarón balances subtle emotion and powerful sentiment in a rarely perfect manner, for any art form. It deserves to take home the majority of major Oscars this year, in; Best Picture, Best Director, Best Lead Actress, Best Original Screenplay, Best Cinematography and many more.
