Review of Roly Poly (1968) by Forrest K — 15 Oct 2009
A rare movie in the con/crime/gangster genre that's pretty much as clever as it thinks. Where it really shines is in the strong character moments, equally due to Craig's understated performance and Vaughn's knockout visual sensibility.
Loses some points for an inconsequential use of "Gimme Shelter," because when has that song EVER been used in a gangster movie, right?
