Review of Roly Poly (1968) by Prodigy W — 17 Sep 2012
Layer Cake is in danger of being yet another smooth, calculating, well-written, well-directed, well-acted, ultimately too-easy thriller... until it decides to turn its genre on its face in the last five seconds. Which makes it a smooth, calculating, well-written, well-directed, well-acted, ultimately too-easy thriller with a better ending than its peers.
-The plot is also very hard to follow, but there are LAYERS in the CAKE.
