Review of Rollerball (2002) by Tony C — 24 Jul 2007
An enjoyable couple of hours entertainment, but not the most thought provoking sci-fi to hit the silver screen. Caan is excellent (as always) as he breaks limbs and noses, while fighting "The Corporation" in between Rollerball matches.
For the most part, this is an action movie. There are some good futuristic sets...although it still looks like the 70's. I would have prefered the plot to be more in depth, with Caan getting more involved with investigating the Corporation.
Not bad though. Recomended to 70's sci-fi fans.
