Review of Rollerball (2002) by Joshua B — 29 Nov 2009
An interesting '70s sci-fi movie where players represent their hometowns, but the whole world is run by large corporations. As the season or tournament progresses, so do the stakes. I get the message, but at times this story alternates between being convoluted and very slow.
As of this writing, I have not seen the 2002 remake, so I can't make any comparisons. I like the premise, the acting was decent, but with some more editing this story could've been excellent.
