Review of Role Models (2008) by Jim F — 03 Sep 2012
Although this was watchable enough, it was not funny, but moreso just a typical over sentimental failure of an American comedy. I was only interested really because I usually enjoy Paul Rudd, but the storyline wasn't inspiring at all.
I found the movie based itself with emphasis of the Dungeons and Dragons reinactment a bit too much. The poor little black kid was just a side issue in comparissson. What really had me reaching for my sick bucket was the final scene where everybody , parol agents, and unsupportive parents came together for the final Laire contest, to show support for the 4 main characters.
There were no spectators to do with anybody else who took part in the battle.
