Review of Role Models (2008) by Dave L — 02 Feb 2011
Pretty funny movie with many laugh out loud, shocking moments, but which seems to tire towards the end, with an almost anti-climactic, predictable ending.
This was Paul Rudd's first "starring" vehicle after doing a series of minor roles in Will Ferrell / Steve Carell comedies.
Rudd proves he can be just as funny as his predecessors and this film definatley opened up the gates for such film roles as "I Love You, Man.".
Sean William Scott is as funny as ever with his unique gross-out style of humour, but one wonders when he will pick up a role that doesn't echoe that of Steve Stiffler from "American Pie".
