Review of Role Models (2008) by Mario H — 13 Apr 2011
This is one of the funniest comedies I've seen in a long time. Put it up there with the Hangover and Tropic Thunder (sans Ben Stiller's awkward presence in that film as an action star - hiring Jason Stathom or Seagal instead would have made it absolutely sublime).
The focus on characters and their growth, language, and some sincere insight into growing up, be it as a child or adult, makes this memorable, besides outright funny, line-after-line, scene-unto-scene-unto-scene.
