Review of Role Models (2008) by Ken T — 16 Oct 2010
Two men (Rudd and Scott) get into some minor trouble with the law and choose to be a big brother to kids over spending 30 days in jail. The kids they gets are a little unique (as to be expected). Rudd receives Mintz'Plasse's nerdy teenage Medieval role player while Scott gets a foul-mouthed, sex-obsessed 10 year old.
The film follows a familiar storyline and not quite all jokes work, but the finale is absolutely hilarious. Scott, Rudd and Lynch plays characters we have seen before, but are terrific in them.
