Review of Role Models (2008) by Jamie I — 26 Jun 2016
You never know what you're going to get with these kinds of movies. They could be horrible like Step Brothers or they could be actually funny and enjoyable like Pineapple Express. The latter is what you get with Role Models. Paul Rudd and Sean William Scott say their lines so fluidly it's almost as if they weren't lines at all but actual dialogue between two very funny friends. Jane Lynch is also quite humorous in this flick but I like her no matter what she does. I've included some lines of dialogue for your benefit but before I do I want to highly recommend this.
"I like to rock n' roll all night and part of every day.".
"You know what I used to have for breakfast? Cocaine. Know what I had for lunch? Cocaine.".
"What did you have for dinner?".
"Was it cocaine?".
"No, venti is twenty. Large is large. In fact, tall is large and grande is Spanish for large. Venti is the only one that doesn't mean large. It's also the only one that's Italian. Congratulations, you're stupid in three languages.".
Watch the Bloopers for the Of Mice and Men shout out.
"I hate your face".
"While I got you here in my personal space.".
