Review of Role Models (2008) by Guido S — 05 Dec 2013
A couple of energy drink salesmen get arrested for driving their truck into a statue and have to do community service. They join a big brother type organization. One gets a foul mouthed little kid, the other a kid who is into LARP.
Very similar to Big Daddy, but much better in my opinion. The LARP action is probably the star of the show and what makes this mostly work, thanks to Christopher Mintz-Plasse. Also a bit of KISS cosplay.
The rest of the film is ok, nothing really stands out.
