Rogue One is movie that can't help from pulling characters from other Star Wars films in order to try to boost it's fan-service. It is a boring film where one does not become invested in the characters.
Not very well put together and cgi renditions of characters from A New Hope takes the audience right out of the movie because you can tell they aren't real. This film is all about fan-service from the original trilogy and it fails to be the great war drama that it promised to be.
