Rogue One features spectacular visual effects, from action-packed sequences to the CGI-assisted return of classic characters from the original Star Wars (Episode IV: A New Hope, 1977). Gareth Edwards managed to pay tribute in a subtle way and at the same time gift us with groundbreaking storytelling.

Rogue One is an excellent addition to the Star Wars universe (although it isn't part of the main saga episodes), further bridging the gap between Revenge of the Sith (Episode III, 2005) and A New Hope.
