An adult Star Wars. Rougher, grittier and more courageous than any other I've seen. I hadn't expected this movie to be as meaty as it was, significantly better than The Force Awakens. Vader is at his most menacing since I was in short pants.
The space battles are the best they've ever done. The CGI to revitalize Cushing and Princess Leia is pitch perfect.
