Review of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016) by Alan C — 15 Jan 2018
The only decent Star Wars film to come out of Lucasfilms since the Disney buyout. Just about spot on for the setting, with a few stupid plot holes unfortunately. The protagonist character Jynn Urso is annoying as hell, the actress can't act, she seems to have only two methods; pouting stupidly and disappointed eyebrows.
The character isn't at all feminine, very much a male character played by a woman, and done badly because she - and the writer who came up with the character - doesn't understand how men actually think and behave.
It's a very annoying character, but is the only major detraction from the film.
