On paper this film should be awful. Dredging up a forgettable plot point of a legendary film to stuff the coffers of its new corporate owner. But incredibly, everyone involved created arguably the greatest chapter yet in this iconic canon.
Rogue One contains the prettiest images along with the deepest performances we've seen from that galaxy far away.
