Review of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016) by Simon T — 04 Mar 2017
Ho hum. Despite an attractive central performance by Felicity Jones and a Fort Knox worth of VFX, this is just another tedious chapter in George Lucas' overrated and never-ending space soap. The plot is very simple: renegade Death Star designer Mads Mikkelsen has included a flaw in his design.
Feisty daughter Felicity and her chums must exploit it. Yawn. A lot of very self-important RSC acting and zero humour.
