Review of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016) by Massimo F — 26 May 2017

Is this movie perfect?....no but 2hrs 15 minutes goes by in a flash. Because Star Wars is such a successful franchise people want to pick it apart with a fine tooth comb. The real truth however is that this movie is one of, if not the best movie of the entire year.

It has everything, it has drama, it has action, it has excitement, it has new & intersting characters, it has an interesting plot, it has raw emotion and it makes you believe in human cliche's like hope & faith.

This movie is darker and more grown up than the force awakens and that is not a bad thing. People will still be watching this movie in 10 years time, 20 years time or even beyond and no other film from 2016 will be able to make that claim.
