Review of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016) by Matt H — 03 Aug 2017
Beautiful landscape. It looks like it might be somewhere in Iceland or Scotland or England. Those black stormtrooper suits look so much better than the white ones. So much sleeker and cooler looking. Wow, the little girl grew up to be really attractive. It's nice seeing all these planets and places in detail that are a part of the Star Wars universe. Interesting to see the Death Star come together and be built.
I don't really like how that one General guy was CGI'd. It's really obvious and kind of unpleasant to watch. That reprogramed droid has too much of a personality and opinion for my taste. Those are some really good martial arts moves right there. He is one with the force. Seeing the actual devastating destruction the DeathStar beam has on a planet in detail was pretty amazing.
It's interesting to see how everything came about and how the Rebel's were able to find out about the weakness in the DeathStar. I like the little C3PO and R2 cameo. I didn't even know that Hammerhead ship existed. That's a pretty ingenious creation. Pretty epic what that one little ship was able to do just by pushing the destroyer. That was genius. Quite epic what went down just to get the blueprints of the Death Star. All the people that risked there lives in fight for a good cause. It sucks they all had to die but they completed there mission and goal in life so it wasn't all in vein.
Ended up being a really good Star Wars movie. Not my favorite, but it was full of great moments and seeing how the plans were obtained and everything that went into it was pretty amazing to watch unfold. Plus, the main girl had a really nice cute butt. It was really a special treat seeing the origins of something that was so monumental in the first three Star Wars movies.
