Review of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016) by Garrison C — 24 Apr 2018

Rogue One fails to escape the failures of all other video game movies. You can see the elements of a good story floating around in there somewhere, but the execution is sloppy. The characters also fail to be as interesting as Either Kyle Katarn or Jan Ors.

On top of that, the re-skinned characters don't get enough time to develop and make you care about them. Would have been better to have a smaller cast, this isn't Lord of the Rings.
