Review of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016) by Lisa K — 09 Feb 2017

This is what Force Awakens should've been. A strong female lead with backstory, against all odds and giving it all to save who knows how many others. I enjoyed having new characters as opposed to having nostalgia shoved down my throat from characters old enough to receive their space AARP card.

This film's fight scenes entertained me and had me on the edge of my seat. The effects made my jaw drop and left me blubbering in the theater. As a longtime Star Wars fan, I was giddy when the film seamlessly tied in to A New Hope.
