Review of Rogue (2007) by Mikhael E — 18 Jul 2008
I was reluctant to watch this film as I thought it was going to be "Jaws" Aussie style, but was pleasantly surprised.
A great cast, a simple storyline that did not try to be anything else but what it was - a monster movie - well written and interesting characters, made this one quite a find. The CGI was so good you never knew it was there, and the croc itself was amazing and believable (watch the extras on the dvd for interesting stuff on the entire film).
The real winner here was the use and display of the spectacular and haunting scenery of the Northern Territory - it made me want to go there.
I really wanted to give this one a 4.25 rating to make it 8.5.
