Review of Rogue (2007) by Diana L — 22 Jan 2010
A totally okay movie for the genre. I wouldn't call it horror, but more suspense. The effects are seamless, which is important for the credibility of any monster flick, and the acting is good too. It's nice to see Sam Worthington speaking his "native tongue", and the view of his bare ass isn't too bad either. Plausibility is debatable at best, as with any monster movie, and the outcome is predictable. Plot construction 101. No real surprises. But it's a decent watch.
I do however like the Swedish title "Territory" better, as it actually refers to what the movie is all about.
