Review of Rogue (2007) by Julian T — 07 Dec 2011
If it weren't for 'Blackwater', this would probably be the best killer croc movie yet. Very well acted by an up and coming cast. Pretty standard story, group of tourists gets stranded and picked off one by one by the giant croc.
Draws alot from 'Jaws', as the presence of the beast is implied most of time rather than fully seen. Alot of tense moments keep the viewer on their toes. The only glaring drawback is its tremendously 'yeah ****ing right' ending.
The last 5 minutes definetly removes any realism from the movie, even though the croc looks fantastic. Definetly recomended, except those darn last 5 minutes.
