Review of Roger & Me (1989) by Stu K — 07 Dec 2008
"Roger & Me" is a pretty good documentary and also the director debut by Michael Moore. Here Michael goes out looking for Roger B. Smith, the chairman for General Motors to ask him about the closing of the factory in Michael's hometown of Flint where 30,000 people lose their job while the company has record profits.
The Michael Moore style of directing is there, but not the good humor that he has in some of his later works. Still a good documentary for anyone to see.
