Review of Roger & Me (1989) by Greg K — 07 Jan 2009
A graphic, detailed, and investigative documentary. Even if you aren't interested in GM, the film takes a thorough look at life and industry in the city of Flint through the years after the automaker moved out.
Extremely one-sided? Yes. But Moore makes his point and includes many unexpected scenes that succeed in swiftly capturing audience interest for the entire run-time. A must see for fans of Moore; one of his first productions to gain public attention and produced with a style even more unique than his recent work.
