Possibly my favorite kaiju (giant monster) movie of all time, Rodan exceeds other films of it's kind in so many ways. While I loved many of the Godzilla films while I was a kid, I don't think any of them have the genuine story, great characters, and suspense that this movie has.
You usually watch these kinds of movies simply for the laughs, but this one is also just a great film.
