Rocky Balboa: [after Rocky has been seemingly defeated] Yo, Tommy! I didn't hear no bell...

As much as I hate to rag on this film, unfortunately like the fourth Rocky installment, this was another futile attempt to recapture the magic that inspired the first film. The characters have become a caricature of themselves at this point and what seemingly significant conflict that arises, doesn't seem to be all that compelling anymore because the concept behind the franchise has become as stale and as redundant as the fights-- still nicely choreographed fights but there was nothing new about it, the thrill is gone.
