Rather like the Bond franchise, once you've seen one Rocky film, you've seen them all: personal crisis - big match coming up - training montage - wife gives support after doubting - big match (Rocky gets 7 bells knocked out of him until the last round, when he suddenly knocks out his opponent.
Good job, too, coz he would have lost on points!) - speechy thing ("Uuuuh, uuh, uuh!") - end. This one had the attempted cold war critique, too - hence all the triumphalist stars and stripes, etc.
