Gets a little better near the end, but still, this is silly romp. Stereotypes, propagandist ideas, scifi stuff, plain silliness and superficial story make it annoying, where it could have been a reasonably enjoyable, more "pro" boxing film with decent characters and so on.

Is Rocky legendary movie character? yes. Is the film thus legendary ? no. I think its mostly intended for younger audience. It takes a while before the film gets going, or rather, seems like its going to get going.

I remember that I liked the earlier Rocky films. But this is slow to start and immature. Underestimating the people who see this film. Unless its intended to be a satire of something. The film does have a few funny moments, like when Paulie falls in the snow.

But basically, I think most of the comedy is probably unintentional. The music is great, though..
