I think they've got the wrong release year (Again, Flixster really needs to hire some editors). Anyways, 'Rocky IV' is definitely a crowd pleaser for fans of the genre and really played on the tension of the cold war at the time of its release - pitting Dolph Lundgren's Russian machine against America's "Italian Stallion", Rocky Balboa.
It has some powerful fights and great training scenes, but it completely reeks of cheese and embarrassing jingoistic nonsense.
