Review of Rocky IV (1985) by Bloody W — 24 Jul 2015
Not a rocky fan by any means however I am a fan of the great sports film and to me there are titans to this genre set in stone coach carter probably being number 1 and space jam being number 2 for being a fun classic but this flick is another ball game in this one its rocky going up against his toughest foe a blonde haired soviet with a powerful punch.
a powerful punch that killed his dear friend apollo so its sort of a revenge movie the training scenes in this movie are fantastic score is too. so is the soundtrack. great end fight scene massive tear jerking emotion to the film.
the speech at the end when you think about it was great because at the time this came out Russia united states relations were very poor and what a great common man speech to bring them together. and of course hearts on fire.
fantastic sports film.
