Review of Rocky III (1982) by Alex P — 14 Jan 2010
I like this one way more than the second, probably because it finally addresses Rocky's lack of skill as a boxer. It was much more of an emotional ride than the second one, and the fighting sequences were much better.
My only complaint is that there's not as much witty dialogue between Rocky and Adrian, although the beach scene is fantastic, and again this lack of witty/dumb dialogue is addressed when Mick talks about how Rocky became civilized.
All in all, a MUCH better film than the second.
