Review of Rocky III (1982) by Zack B — 24 May 2010

While this is a lot different than the first two movies, I think it's the most fun in the entire series. It's really light and 80s oriented, but it still has everything that makes Rocky a great character.

They also changed the formula which was interesting and surprising. What really makes it so enjoyable is the fact that you get to see Rocky live the life that he deserves. All the fame and recognition never gets to his head, he still stays the same lovable person.

I love Mr. T as the villain, he just works so well as a character. Also, Carl Weathers really got to shine in this too. In many ways he is Rocky's best trainer.
