Review of Rocky III (1982) by Michael W — 05 Aug 2013

Salvester Stalone, Mr. T, and Hulk Hogan. Could this movie get any better? After the second Rocky film was successful, they decided to do a third one. Unlike the first two, this one was paced very differently, and thank goodness it is, because it we had a third film in the series that was like the first two, we would get bored of this series very quickly.

This time around, we get blasted with straight up story, emotion, action and pure concintrated, freshly squeezed, awesomeness! Rocky gets in three fights in this movie, instead on just one. A main character dies Apollo Creed comes back to train Rocky, (Even though Rocky beat him in the last movie.

And Rocky is also fighting a guy bigger and stronger than himself. Yeah, it doesn't make much sense to me either.) But this movie is still really good. 5 stars. ( P.S. this also the film Mr. T got his catchphrase from.

) Not much else to say but, "It's the eye of the tiger. It's the cream of the fight. Rising up to the challenge of our rival. And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night and he's watching us all with the eye.
