Review of Rocky III (1982) by Sam E — 17 Aug 2011

Although less well received than the original Rocky and its sequal, it catapulted 2 people into international fame. Hulk Hogan who became the biggest proffesional wrestler arguably of all time, and Mr T who went on to star in several successful movies and TV series including the incredibly successful sitcom The A Team.

I dont think anybody appreciated the fact they killed Mickey off but other than that I enjoyed it immensely, the boxing scenes however unrealistic and the punching noises completely fake are thrilling and exciting.

The acting specifically from Stallone is excellent (something which some people may not agree), especially when Mickey dies during the movie, you can see the pain in Stallone's face.

It wont be credited as the best of the series but it certainly pocesses the Eye of the Tiger!
