An unnecessary sequel if there ever was one. Apollo Creed's character goes from cocky to ridiculous, apparently in the span of a brief ambulance ride if the timing of the movies is adhered to. Rocky becomes completely ungrounded in the same time span.
..apparently a 15 round bout really knocks screws loose. The newspaper ad that brings about the rematch that takes the movie nearly an hour to get to is hardly convincing. This film is to Stallone as the meat ad Paulie slapped on his boxing robe in the first movie.
