Review of Rocky II (1979) by Manu K — 21 Jun 2010
A far cry from the outstanding first film, it really gets cheesy in this one. Haven't seen the whole thing, saw a big chunk though, from somewhere in middle to end, and I really just don't have the desire to see the whole film now.
Rocky gets a big head and becomes a whole lot less cool than when he's putting eggs in a blender and running up stairs and giving champ fist pumps to great tunage. And the fight and drama and the end is down right ridiculous.
I won't give it away, but it's so cheesy that I laughed. Sorry Rocky, but you let me down in this one.
