Review of Rocky II (1979) by Joshua M — 13 Aug 2012
Not quite as powerful as the first, but its a decent body blow. The first Rocky is probably one of the best films about boxing / if not one of the best sport films ever (This coming from a Raging Bull fan).
This is a very good sequel, but I see it more like Rocky 1 1/2. Nice finish to the story presented in the first. I would only recommend watching this one AFTER you watch the first in a back to back feature.
