Review of Rocky Balboa (2006) by Joey — 21 Dec 2006

I'm 23 and I've only seen a few of the Rocky movies on cable, so I'm not really a biased Rocky fan. I thought Sly was pretty impressive in Rocky I and Copland, and I think he was just as good in this one.

This was a good movie. Most of it had nothing to do with boxing, it was just a quiet, honest story about a man looking back on his life and figuring out what to do next. The guys I went with went in expecting to make fun of it, but they they quieted down pretty fast.

If you like Rocky at all, you will really appreciate this one.
