Let me say that the fact that this movie was even made is a miracle of "Balbo-ic" proportions. I never thought I would feel Rocky on my steps again but that is the true magic of one of the greatest story's ever told in cinematic history.
It is so very American with it's simple "work hard, make something of yourself and you can be successful" message. Sylvester Stallone has earned his place among the world's best actors/directors with just this one story.
..the story of Rocky. Generations to come will learn of this movie franchise as they did the Godfather and I think they will embrace it even more so. Movies one and six are really the only ones that you need to know this story.
