Review of Rocky Balboa (2006) by Don A — 17 May 2011
Great movie thatâ(TM)s almost as good as the first one. Stallone is an incredibly good writer when he wants to be and the dialogue in this is great. The film doesn't focus so much on boxing as it does on the actual character and the trials he faces growing old and having only memories of what he used to be.
The "Adrian-tour" that Rocky and Paulie take was particularly touching. Part V always felt like the saga was unfinished. This one effectively closes it.
