I'm not surprised the Rocky franchise has mad this many movies, but I am surprised it has done as well as it did up until now. Even with this sixth instalment the films continue to diliver, this one better than even the latest three.

His life seems to be bleak, his wife has passes away along with his dad, he longs to continue fighting but instead try's for a decent life owning a restaurant. He finds a new women whine he falls in love with, and strives for one last fight.

He gets more than he bargained for with the new champion, who everyone believes has not had to take a real beating in the ring and would not last the typical long match with Rocky. This movie shows even less of the training and stuff as the previous, and focuses on his new life and girl, as well as his business and struggles with Polly.

It's still a great story and even if he wasn't fighting it's interesting and a good watch. The final fight is still up to pace and excitement as the others, even if he has aged much since then he still packs a punch.

We expect the usual ending but at the same time know it won't happen, and aren't disappointed with the results. I think this will forever be the last film of this famous and well known franchise, but we can't turn away quite yet as we have the new Creed movie coming soon, starring the son of Apollo Creed as he strives to fight, and Rocky takes him under with wing as Apollo once did for him.

Looking forward to it, but this one is not to be missed either.
