Rocky is about a man being an underdog and yes the movie basis is a good topic, but the choice of casting sylvester stallone as rocky was a poor choice. He makes everything to choppy and not funny, and you are to distracted by his mumbling voice, trying to figure out what he is trying to say, more so than what is actually happening in the movie.
The movie also is very slow and choppy and things like the picture and casting is overall does not keep up with the whole movie concept. It almost seems like they jump straight from the underdog to the hero, because they never make him truly seem like an underdog. It just doesn't work out the casting or the movie settings and productions to go along with the goo theme of the movie.
