Review of Rocky (1976) by Carlos I — 19 Apr 2014
Why people thought this was so good is beyond me. Sylvester Stallone plays himself, basically, and I predicted the ending in the first 20 minutes. Having said that, Rocky is very entertaining and full of recognizable music that adds to the experience; but aside from those things, it fails and should certainly have not beat Taxi Driver and Network for Best Picture at the Oscars.
