Review of Rocky (1976) by Ben T — 20 Dec 2015
Rocky is a classic drama that defied the cliques of these types of sports/underdog movies and delivered one of the most compelling dramas of its time. Sylvester Stallone is great in this movie, as he delivers one of the most iconic movies characters in a near perfect way, and his script is brilliant, with it blending drama and boxing action perfectly.
The rest of the cast is great, the direction is amazing, and the score is so iconic that it is become a being of its own. This is a classic and a must see for fans of dramas, sports films, and underdog stories.
