Review of RocknRolla (2008) by Hung-Ya L — 21 Feb 2013
Second time watching it and still love it. A very Guy Ritchie movie one would expect but not so much like Snatch. and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels because the latter two are more complex and confusing. However, it does not make RocknRolla worse or anything. No no. RocknRolla leads you to a make-you-think, if not precise, version of how dirty money, red tape, informers, drugs, gangsters and so forth might interlink! The soundtrack is beautifully rock n rolling! Tom Hardy was a brilliant Handsome Bob and Gerard Butler One Two! Mind you though, the real RocknRolla should go to Archy starring Mark Strong. A real bad arse.
Shame that it is still no sign of the sequel, the Real RocknRolla news though. Really looking forward to it!
