I guess they tried to be different and it just didn’t work. Warning, this is a musical!!! Shocking. And I hate musical. After Bohemian Rhapsody, this one is a complete bore. I ended up playing with my cat and cleaning the house while I was watching since it completely lost my interest.
It shows a little bit of his childhood and then boom he becomes a star, leaves you with questions like how the band was made. However, I’m rating the movie based on the writing, my expectations for a real documentary.
I would give it a 10 for Talons acting and singing and the music numbers. But that’s not what I was looking for.
