Review of Rocket Science (2007) by Malkoto Z — 28 Apr 2008
Who thought high-school debating could be so exciting. The film is a fairytale about the pubescent obsession of a charming main character. A series of ridiculously dramatic moments lead to a really nice script development.
All the actors in the film do a great job playing their weirdly authentic and fascinating characters, my favourite one being the psychotic brother. The film doesn't shake you or excite you much but I guess it was not meant to do so.
Definitely worth watching.
